Meet Ann Mitchell

Ann graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2004. While at the University of Arkansas, Ann was an active member of the Chi Omega sorority, played intermural tennis, and majored in Fashion Merchandising and Business. Immediately after graduation, she moved to New York City to pursue a career in fashion merchandising. During her 10+ year career in the fashion industry, she worked as a Merchandiser for Elie Tahari, a NYC-based designer. As the Merchandiser she was the liaison between the design and sales team, using her design, negotiation, and analytical skills to work between the two teams (a career switch that has parlayed itself very effectively in real estate!) 

 

While living in NYC, she met her husband, Kent. They have been married since 2011. After having their twins Vivian and Andrew in 2013, Kent and Ann made the decision to leave the cold weather and move to Austin, TX. With this location, change came buying and selling two homes in Austin. Ann has always loved following the real estate market, but this confirmed that it was the natural career shift for her. She decided that if this was her next move, working with Kelly VonDrehle was the perfect fit!
